FINSTRIDE Refund Policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
FINSTRIDE’s paid plans are sold by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which processes all payments and refunds.
1. Try before you pay
The Free plan has no time limit, so you can try FINSTRIDE fully before choosing a paid plan.
2. 14-day refund on every payment
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment for a FINSTRIDE plan:
- your first payment, monthly or yearly; and
- every renewal, monthly or yearly.
No reason is needed.
3. Cancelling a monthly plan
If you cancel within 14 days of a payment, it’s refunded in full and the plan ends at once (section 2). After that, your plan stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you’re not charged again. After the 14 days in section 2, the current month is not refunded.
4. Cancelling a yearly plan: refund for unused months
You can cancel a yearly plan at any time. After the 14 days in section 2, we refund the part of the year you have not used, worked out like this:
- Up to the end of month 6: we keep the monthly price for each month used, and refund the rest of what you paid this year.
- From month 7: we do the same but don’t charge the month you cancel in. That month is our thank-you for staying with us.
- Each month used is charged at the monthly price of the plan you had that month; a month in which you upgraded counts at the higher plan.
- A month that has started counts as used. The refund is never less than zero.
- The refund is worked out on prices before tax. Paddle refunds the matching tax with it.
Example, Premium yearly at USD 79.90 (monthly price USD 7.99): cancel in month 2 and you get USD 63.92 back; in month 6, USD 31.96; in month 7, USD 31.96; in month 10, USD 7.99; in months 11 and 12, nothing.
When there is a refund, it is made and the plan ends at once. If there is nothing left to refund, your plan stays active until the end of the year and does not renew.
5. What happens after a refund
When a payment is refunded, in full or in part, the plan it paid for ends straight away and your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing you have stored is deleted: items over the Free plan’s limits are paused, and you choose which stay active (see the Terms of Service, section 7).
6. Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrading, including moving from monthly to yearly, takes effect straight away. Paddle charges only the difference for the rest of the current period. That payment can be refunded within 14 days like any other.
- If you cancel within 14 days of an upgrade, we refund the upgrade payment and the plan ends at once.
- Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep your current plan until then. No refund is made for a downgrade.
- Moving from yearly to monthly can’t be done in place. Cancel the yearly plan (refunded under section 3 or 4), then choose a monthly plan.
7. Deleting your account
Deleting your account cancels your plan. A payment made in the last 14 days is refunded in full. Otherwise, a monthly plan is not refunded, and a yearly plan is refunded for its unused months under section 4. If you have reached the limit in section 8, the refund is reviewed instead. If you keep your account within the 30 days, your plan stays cancelled, and you can choose one again.
8. Exceptions
We may refuse a refund where there is clear evidence of fraud or abuse, such as repeated buy-and-refund cycles. Automatic refunds are limited to 3 refunded payments in any 12 months. One cancellation can refund more than one payment. Above that limit, refund requests are reviewed by us at [email protected] and your plan stays active until the end of its period. This does not affect your legal rights.
9. Your legal rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country that gives you a legal right to cancel or a refund, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
10. How to ask for a refund
- Cancel in the app (Settings › Your Plan), and the refund this policy gives you is made automatically.
- Or reply to your Paddle receipt email, go to https://paddle.net and find your order, or email [email protected] with the email address you used to pay.
Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
