FINSTRIDE Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Muhammad Babar, a sole proprietor trading as ApexPaths, Lahore, Pakistan (“ApexPaths”, “we”, “us”), for your use of FINSTRIDE (the web app, the installable app, the Android app when released, and related services). When you create an account, you confirm you are 18 or older, agree to the Terms and the Refund Policy, and confirm you have read the Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use FINSTRIDE
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may hold one personal account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
2. What FINSTRIDE is, and is not
FINSTRIDE is a personal finance tool for recording income and expenses, and for planning budgets, goals, recurring items and cash flow.
- It is not a bank, payment service or financial institution. It does not hold, move or access your money, and it does not connect to your bank accounts.
- It is not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Reports and forecasts are calculated from what you enter and are estimates. Decisions you make based on them are your own. For advice, consult a qualified professional.
- Receipt scanning uses an AI service and can make mistakes. Check every amount, date and category before saving it.
3. Your account
- Keep your password and devices secure, and turn on two-step verification if you can.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed it.
- Without a verified email, you cannot reset a lost password, and the account is deleted after 30 days without a log-in. An email sign-up that is never verified is deleted after 1 day.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use FINSTRIDE for anything illegal, including money laundering, fraud or tax evasion;
- enter other people’s personal or financial data without the right to do so;
- upload malicious files, or try to break, overload, probe or bypass the app’s security or plan limits;
- copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, or access it with automated tools except the export we provide;
- harass us or other people through support channels.
5. Your data
- What you enter stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and display it to provide the service.
- You can download your entries, settings and plans at any time from Settings › Data, and email [email protected] for a copy of anything else we hold. You can delete your account at any time from Settings › Account. It is locked at once and deleted for good after 30 days, or straight away if you log in and choose Delete Now.
- We handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Keep your own backup. We take reasonable care, but we recommend exporting your data regularly.
6. Plans and payments
- FINSTRIDE has a Free plan and paid plans (Standard and Premium), billed monthly or yearly. Current prices and features are on https://apexpaths.co/finstride.
- Paid plans are sold by our reseller, Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle handles payments and refunds. For any billing question you can also write to [email protected]. Your purchase is also governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. A monthly plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again; a yearly plan is refunded for its unused months and ends at once; if nothing is left to refund, it runs to the end of the year (see the Refund Policy).
- Prices may change. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
- Taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle based on your location.
- You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any payment, first or renewal, monthly or yearly. If you cancel a yearly plan after that, we refund its unused months as set out in our Refund Policy. When a payment is refunded, in full or in part, the plan it paid for ends and your account moves to the Free plan under section 7.
7. Plan limits, downgrades and the Free plan
- Each plan has limits, shown on the pricing page. The Free plan allows up to 2,000 entries in total.
- Nothing you have stored is deleted when you reach a limit or move to a lower plan. Items over the new plan’s limits are paused, and you choose which stay active. On the Free plan, once you reach 2,000 entries, you cannot add new ones until you delete some or upgrade. You can still view, edit, delete and export everything.
- If a payment fails, your plan stays active for up to 14 days after the renewal date while Paddle retries. If it still fails, your account moves to the Free plan under the rules above.
8. Changes and availability
We work to keep FINSTRIDE available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, you can cancel and ask for a refund for the unused part of your current period. If we ever close FINSTRIDE, we will give you at least 60 days’ notice to export your data.
9. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using FINSTRIDE and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to export your data.
10. Our intellectual property
FINSTRIDE’s software, design, name and logos belong to ApexPaths. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app while your account is active, and nothing more.
11. Disclaimers
FINSTRIDE is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not stated in these terms, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of calculations, forecasts or scanned data.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, savings, data or opportunity.
- We are not liable for financial decisions you make using FINSTRIDE.
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for FINSTRIDE in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you have paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law, and that causes a claim against us by someone else, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
14. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights given by the law of the country where you live. Nothing in these terms takes them away.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for significant changes we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account before the changes take effect.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction, subject to section 14. Before going to court, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.
17. General
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about FINSTRIDE.
- We may transfer these terms to a new owner of FINSTRIDE; your rights under them will not be reduced.
